Please include all phonetic pronunciations of names, company names, and websites. If pronunciations are not provided, the voice talent may not interpret the words correctly and this will cause delays in your recording(s).

Please Note: There will be additional charges for phonetic changes not listed below.

Sample: Jose = Ho-zAy, Wyle = Wy-lee

 1. The first thing a caller hears before having to either: select a mailbox, press 8 for dial-by-name (if activated), or press 6 for fax-on-demand (if activated).
 
 2. Main greeting repeats if no option is selected.

Sample without Informational Extension (formerly VMEs): "Thank you for calling ABC corporation. If you know your party's extension, please enter it now, or press 8 for the dial-by-name directory. For sales, press 1. For customer support, press 2. Press 0 for the operator or hold to repeat this menu."

Sample with Informational Extension (formerly VMEs): "Thank you for calling ABC corporation. If you know your party's extension, please enter it now, or press 8 for the dial-by-name directory. For directions to our office, press 1. For sales, press 2. For customer support, press 3. Press 0 for the operator or hold to repeat this menu." (a caller who presses 1 will be sent to Informational Extension 1. Scroll down below for a sample VME script.)

Add Music

The After-Hours main greeting is not a mailbox, and therefore cannot accept messages. Callers will still have to make a selection before leaving a message.

Sample: "Thank you for calling ABC corporation. You have reached us after-hours. If you know your party's extension, please enter it now, or press 8 for the dial-by-name directory. Otherwise please call back during normal business hours which are 9-5 Monday through Friday."
 

Add Music

1. Callers hear the name of the extension before being transferred, every extension should have a name and a greeting.

 

2. Note that callers hear a voicemail greeting if call forwarding is turned off or the call is not answered via live call forwarding.

3. During a voicemail greeting, callers can press 9 to return to the main menu

4. Transfer messages are optional and only available with professionally recorded greetings.

5. Callers can navigate to another extension while listening to a voicemail greeting rather than leaving a message. They must dial the full 70x extension and not the single digit 1, 2, extension. For example, "To speak to a technical support rep, please dial extension 703. Otherwise, please leave a message..."


Sample:
Extension 701, Name: Sales, Greeting: "All sales representatives are assisting other customers. Please leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call shortly." Transfer Message: "Transferring to Sales"

Extension 704, Name: John Smith, Greeting: We recommend recording your own personal greeting. However, you can have our voice talent record it for you. For example: "Hi you've reached the voicemail box of John Smith, please leave a message and he will return your call shortly. Thank you."
