Placing a caller on hold

While on a live call, you can place the caller on hold, with music, by pressing # twice (##)

Options after placing caller on hold:
1 Return to the call
2 Transfer the call to a different extension
3 End the call

There are 2 types of transfers you can make:
1. Blind/Unsupervised transfer – the call is automatically transferred

2. Supervised transfer – you may speak to the party to which you are transferring the call prior to completing the transfer

NOTE: To complete the supervised transfer, the person receiving the call must press ##.  To complete this transfer, you must press # twice (##)
