Enter a telephone or pager number and the system will call or page that number upon receiving a new message. When you answer this notification the system will inform you that you have new messages, then prompt you for your extension access code. If you enter your PIN successfully you will be able to listen to your messages. If you are notified via a pager you will see a page from your account number so that you will know to call in to check your messages.
If you want to be notified of or receive copies of voicemails and faxes you may enter up to three unique addresses. You can also enter an address used to send SMS messages to a mobile phone.

The system can page you or notify you on a phone number or pager that you have messages. The Voicemail & Fax Delivery feature allows for notifications via email as well.
To set notification numbers:
1. Go to mygotvmail.com
2. Enter your account number, extension (leave blank for administrator login) and PIN
3. Click Settings
4. Click the + sign to choose an extension
5. Click Notifications
6. Enter your Call-Back number
7. Click the Update button
You will be notified at this number when you have a new message
To set email delivery options:
NOTE: Some email programs will mark emails from GotVMail as spam. Make sure to add emails from GotVMail to your allowed emails list. The default format for voice files is MP3 and the default format for faxes is .pdf. Do not change the format unless the defaults will not work for you.
