Placing a Caller on Hold
A caller can be placed on hold by pressing ##.  The caller will hear your music on hold while they are on hold.  You will the following options, depending upon the features on your account.

  1. Press 1 to return to your call
  2. Press 2 to transfer your call
  3. Press 7 place the call into a new conference
  4. Press 9 to end the call now

Transferring a Call
A caller can be transferred to a different extension or to an outside number (if the Virtual Calling Card feature is activated on your extension).  After the caller is placed on hold by pressing ##,

    • Enter the area code and phone number or the extension number that the call is to be transferred to followed by #
    • Press 1 for an immediate, unsupervised transfer
    • Press 2 to remain on the line until the transfer is complete.
    • Press * to cancel and return to the original call
