Siamak Taghaddos
President and Chief Executive Officer
As co-founder, president and CEO of GotVMail, Siamak Taghaddos has guided the company’s exponential growth and awareness, achieving profitability just months after the company’s formal launch, and inclusion on the Inc. 500 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
Taghaddos was recently featured on the inaugural installment of the new CNN business program, “Young People Who Rock,” and was selected among the country’s “Top 5 Entrepreneurs Under 25” by BusinessWeek. Additionally, he was named to the 2006 “40 Under 40” young entrepreneurial leaders by American Venture Magazine; named a small business “Power Player” by Entrepreneur Magazine; selected for the Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” business leaders list; and recognized as the “Massachusetts Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Taghaddos has also been featured in various business publications, including the Wall Street Journal and the Boston Globe as well being profiled in the recently published university course book about entrepreneurship and growth strategies, Entrepreneurship, written by William Bygrave and Andrew Zacharakis.
Prior to co-founding GotVMail in 2003, Taghaddos launched a successful online distribution company offering discounted pagers throughout the United States. Taghaddos also developed business and marketing strategies for College Coach, LLC, a Boston-based educational consulting firm offering individual college placement guidance to college-bound teens.
Born in Iran and raised in the Boston area, Taghaddos graduated with distinction from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in entrepreneurship and marketing. While at Babson, he achieved a number of academic and business honors, including winning the coveted 2003 “Business Plan Competition,” and receiving both the 2003 “Outstanding Student in Entrepreneurial Activities Award,” as well as the 2002 “Student Business of the Year Award.” Taghaddos is a member of the Iranian Association of Boston.
David Hauser
Chief Technology Officer
As co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of GotVMail, David Hauser has engineered the company's overall technology roadmap, enabling it to become an Inc. 500 company. Hauser continues to promote GotVMail’s innovation by managing the company's engineering teams, network operations, and QA testing. This hands-on approach has resulted in the most reliable and state-of-the-art virtual phone system for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Hauser was recently featured on the inaugural installment of the new CNN business program, “Young People Who Rock,” and was selected among the country’s “Top 5 Entrepreneurs Under 25” by BusinessWeek. Additionally, he was included among the “40 Under 40” talented young leaders by American Venture Magazine; was named a small business “Power Player” by Entrepreneur Magazine; and recognized as the “Massachusetts Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Hauser has also been featured in various business publications, including BusinessWeek and the Wall Street Journal, as well as authoring a chapter about his experience launching GotVMail in “Student Entrepreneurs Giving Back: 10 Student Entrepreneurs Tell Their Stories of Social Impact.”
A technology start-up veteran, Hauser co-founded Return Path, an e-mail performance management company with many Fortune 500 clients on its roster. Hauser also launched WebAds 360, a ground-breaking ad-serving technology provider for small and mid-sized businesses. In addition, Hauser has consulted for various technology companies as well as mentoring budding entrepreneurs at his alma mater, Babson College.
Hauser received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College. While at Babson, he garnered several awards, including the prestigious "Small Business of the Year Award," the 2004 "Coastal Region Global Student Entrepreneur Award," and the 2004 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards' “Innovation Award.” Hauser is a member and serves on the board of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), and is a Global Advisory Board member of the Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE).
David Powers
Vice President, Communications
David Powers oversees GotVMail’s corporate communications activities which focus on outreach and education of increasingly mobile entrepreneurs, small business owners, and home-based businesses about the company’s powerful virtual telecommunications service. Powers brings to GotVMail over 15 years of background in marketing and public relations, including telecommunications experience with Level 3 Communications and XCOM Technologies, the latter a start-up company that provided managed services to the nation’s leading Internet Service Providers and which Powers was instrumental in positioning as the first “data phone company.” Powers is an honors graduate of the University of Missouri, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and is on the Board of Directors of Dads and Daughters (www.dadsanddaughters.org).
John Joyce
Vice President, Business Development
John Joyce joined GotVMail in 2005 to develop strategic partnerships with companies that serve small businesses, home-based businesses and mobile professionals. Joyce is also responsible for building an industry-leading affiliate program and outbound sales organization. He brings to GotVMail over 15 years of experience driving business growth across channel sales, business development, marketing, and sales engineering. Most recently Joyce held business development and channel management positions with Internap Network Services and Akamai Technologies and began his career as a systems engineer with Microsoft. Over his career, Joyce developed strategic sales and marketing relationships with Verizon, AT&T, and Lucent. Joyce holds a B.S. in Marketing from Northeastern University.
Stephen Kramer
Board Member
Mr. Kramer is considered a thought-leader in the field of start-up operations and venture capital. Prior to co-founding Massachusetts-based College Coach, he initiated and led the start-up practice at Fidelity Ventures, the venture capital arm of Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity Ventures, he invested in and consulted to a number of small to mid-sized businesses. Prior to his experience at Fidelity, Mr. Kramer was a consultant with Arthur D. Little, where he directed high growth organizations in the areas of strategy and operations. Mr. Kramer studied at the London School of Economics and graduated with highest distinction from Babson College and the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Michael London

Mr. London is recognized as a pioneer in growth and marketing strategy consulting. Prior to co-founding Massachusetts-based College Coach, Mr. London was a Director at Harte-Hanks Communications where he designed and implemented direct marketing strategies and programs for Fortune 500 companies such as AOL, The Gap and L.L. Bean. His established track record includes success at ADVO, Inc. (the nation's leading direct marketing company). Prior to gaining direct marketing expertise, Mr. London served as the Marketing Manager in The Office of the President at Digital Equipment Corporation. He graduated with highest distinction from Babson College and the Boston University Graduate School of Management.
